D&P Senior School Sponsorship Programme (SSSP)
D&P receive numerous requests for sponsorships on a weekly basis. In 2009, we introduced the D&P Senior School Sponsorship Programme (SSSP). This initiative is limited to Provincial High School cricketers that are excelling and is limited to a maximum of only 10 players per season.
This SSSP was primarily set aside for young up and coming cricketers who have supported the D&P brand and progressed positively through the ranks. It is aimed at backing those talented individuals to further their cricket careers by supplying them with superior equipment in an effort to assist them achieving their cricket aspirations.
Among the massive savings price, players receive free D&P T-Shirts, Sweatbands as well as caps. They are also entitled to 50% discounts on all bat clean-ups. There are also incentives in place for players’ to receive free D&P cricket bats if the perform exceptionally well in the Provincial/ National tournaments!
Among the successful players that have started with this reduced pricing structure and progressed into Full Sponsorship, include the likes of JP Duminy (Cape Cobras, South Africa), Lenert van Wyk (Cape Cobras/ SA national Academy), Mohammed Yaseen Vallie (Cape Cobras/ SA National Academy) and Dane Piedt (Cape Cobras/ SA National Academy).
